Job Description

Immerse yourself in a startup environment and be at the centre of one of the fastest growing industries globally - Fintech! We're looking to engage a passionate and creative Communications Manager, with a view to further developing the fintech ecosystem in Sweden.

You will work closely with our designer and community managers to develop new communications concepts and content. A mix of telling stories from the community, the current trends in the general fintech sphere and our own updates as Fintech Hub.

As we are a company that is growing very quickly, you will work in a fast-paced environment and the ability to roll up your sleeves and help wherever necessary is a must. We are looking for someone with a lot of drive and ambition, with a view to becoming a core part of the team and embracing the opportunities that come as a result.

As we work with a large number of companies within financial services, there will be the opportunity to gain a unique insight into future technologies and advance your own skill set.

What we would like from you:

  • Build relationships with existing and potential Fintech Hub members/partners, industry professionals and journalists with a view to encouraging online community engagement.
  • Together with the design and content team, form new concepts and build value for the community.
  • Talk to our community in a fun and engaging way via our social media channels, website and newsletter.
  • Co-organise Fintech hub events, in the markets we are present and coordinate with relevant partners/service providers.
  • Provide scale and dialogue for fintech companies internationally and to contribute to geographically relevant events.
  • Create content relevant to the financial industry (you do NOT need to know everything, but having an interest in the topic is important).

Desired qualifications and skills:

  • Eager to interact with Fintech Hub members and partners both online and offline.
  • Highly organised and efficient, able to prioritise workload.
  • Friendly and extroverted, a team player.
  • Able to pick up tasks quickly and execute efficiently.
  • Able to work proactively under own initiative.
  • Flexible and able to pick up tasks outside of the specific job description where necessary.
  • Excellent English language skills
  • A desire to write engaging content.
  • Intermediate content management and office suite skills.
  • Knowledge using and managing various social media platforms

Who we are:

Fintech Hub is a project started in late 2016, working to bring together Sweden’s fintech companies, financial institutions, industry regulators and investors. It is the goal of the hub to promote and help financial innovation reach new levels of adoption and ensure companies within our network have the best possible support and tools needed to succeed. We work alongside some of the most exciting financial services companies in the world, from International banks through to young dynamic start-ups. During 2018 we will be growing our operations and opening new offices throughout the Nordics and the wider Europe.
